Jeff Bezos Is The King Of Queens
Jeff Bezos has been deciding about the future city for Amazon’s 2nd Headquarters, which has states in a bigger frenzied pitch than being chosen to host the Olympics. Crystal City in Arlington and Long Island City in Queens are the winners as both cities will get 25k employees each. Amazon recently expanded into Queens when it bought the former Bulova Watch HQ in Woodside, which will become a fulfillment location.

I don't know exactly where in LIC Amzon HQ2 will be, but the majority of LIC is categorized as opportunity zones. If HQ2 is built in an opportunity zone, Amazon will not pay taxes on land. In New York City. pic.twitter.com/IwTpYDK5Rt

As a side note while my tea water boils, Amazon making all these cities across America compete in a beauty pageant, and then selecting New York and Washington DC is just … movie villain level.
