Celine Dion at Prudential Center 🎤🎶

March 7 @ 8:00 pm - March 8 @ 8:00 pm

The DEETS: With her distinctive and powerful vocals, Celine Dion has been a force on the world’s pop scene for over three decades. She found immediate success in her native Quebec with a string of French-language albums, but beginning with her English-language debut Unison in 1990, she has been the voice behind such enduring classics as “My Heart Will Go On” from the film Titanic, “The Power of Love” and “Because You Loved Me.” She has won five Grammys, including the prestigious Record of the Year award for “My Heart Will Go On,” and is one of the best-selling artists in the modern era with over 200 million records sold. Known for her energetic live shows, including two blockbuster residencies in Las Vegas, Dion continues to fill arenas and stadiums all over the world.

The youngest in a musical family of 14 children raised in a Montreal suburb, Celine Dion made her public singing debut at a family wedding when she was only five years old. In 1981, she had her first French-language hit with “Ce N’était Qu’un Réve” (“It Was Only a Dream”), a song she co-wrote with her mother and brother and had sent to producer Rene Angelil, who was so impressed by Dion’s voice that he mortgaged his house to finance her first album and became her manager and later her husband. Quickly becoming a success in the French-speaking world, Dion set her sights higher, learning English and releasing Unison when she was 21. Unison was an immediate hit, but it was her third album in English, 1993’s The Colour of My Love, that propelled her to superstar heights. She continued her string of hits through the 2010s, and in April 2019, she announced that her new album Courage would be released on November 2019, with the world tour of the same name beginning in September 2019.
