Dead & Company is a beloved band with a long and storied history. It is fronted by original members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann of the Grateful Dead, as well as John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge, and Jeff Chimenti. After forming in 2015 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead’s formation, the band has gone on to create unique music that pays homage to their roots while still exploring their own sound.
The addition of pop star John Mayer was initially met with mixed reactions from fans – some doubted his ability to fit in with the classic Dead & Company style. However, he has proven himself time and again over the past eight years as an integral part of the band.
Now, fans will have the chance to witness Dead & Company’s final tour together at Citi Field on Wednesday June 21st & Thursday June 22nd at 7:30.
