Facebook Celebrates Its 15th Birthday π
Facebook was launched 15 years ago as a means to connect people, but during the last few years the Granddaddy of Social Media was the major proponent of President Trump’s campaign through bots, fake news & stupid memes that targeted everyone from African American voters to Rednecks who still believe that the earth is flat.
The car horn is great training for the Facebook dislike button.

I visited my facebook wall because it's been a while since I last check it, only to see that freebooting & fakenews is still widespread there…the very same reason I stayed away from it.

Zuckerberg is talking about Facebook like it's 2011 and the Arab Spring just happened. Since then, powerful institutions/governments (like Russia) have figured out how to use social media against people. And FB has become a powerful institution itself. https://t.co/EUCre9JGIy pic.twitter.com/iglAvjsGpb

Happy 15th Birthday to Facebook!
Letβs make it a goal for your 16th year to put people ahead of profits, protect user data, and stop Americaβs adversaries from using your platform to manipulate public opinion.
