Mackenzie Bezos Is Better Than Jeff

Mackenzie Bezos & her husband, Jeff, announced in January that they were amicably divorcing. With no prenup between the pair, in addition to the fact that without Mackenzie’s influence there would be no Amazon, the couple split their assets 50-50. Mackenzie was very hands-on when Jeff set out to start the online retailer and even served as their first accountant.
MacKenzie is going to be amazing and thoughtful and effective at philanthropy, and I’m proud of her. Her letter is so beautiful. Go get ‘em MacKenzie. https://t.co/S2gLLBQyRQ

Mackenzie Bezos divorcing the richest man on Earth and immediately pledging to give away 1/4 of his money is the most awe-inspiring power move of our lifetime.
