President Trump welcomed National Champions, Clemson to the White House for lunch, but he told reporters that due to the shutdown, they ordered out from McDonald’s, Burger King and KFC. Fast Food isn’t a dish best served cold, but by the time the players dined on the feast, their dinner was the ultimate oxymoron; cold fast food – aka ‘Unhappy Meals.’
Great being with the National Champion Clemson Tigers last night at the White House. Because of the Shutdown I served them massive amounts of Fast Food (I paid), over 1000 hamberders etc. Within one hour, it was all gone. Great guys and big eaters!

It’s sad that when I opened Twitter I knew why Hamberders was trending without reading my timeline.

Trump to media yesterday: "We have 300 hamburgers"
Trump to Clemson yesterday: "I go out and send for about 1,000 hamburgers"
Trump this morning: "I served them massive amounts of Fast Food (I paid), over 1000 hamberders"

The White House staff is furloughed so he’s alone serving cold fast food. This picture is worth 5.1 billion words. pic.twitter.com/ZuDCIGvzG5

The Democrats’ refusal to compromise on border security and reopen the government didn’t stop President Trump from hosting national champion @ClemsonFB tonight. He personally paid for the event to be catered by some of America’s great fast food joints pic.twitter.com/eK4CuuBXGM

We're going to find out by the end of the day that he didn't actually pay for those hamberders

SEAN SPICER: The President bought more hamberders than any other President ever. Period! @seanspicer

It was far fewer than 1,000 hamberders. https://t.co/zwNyKEs9zL
